Sold a Multiple Occupancy Home - 11/25/2020
Brenna has been spectacular in the sale of my property. I am active duty military and currently stationed in Florida. Her knowledge about the San Diego market, especially University Heights was phenomenal. The comparative property quotes and the portfolio drafted was prestine and attractive. Multiple offers in less than 8 hours of posting the MLS speaks volumes about her meticulous work. She was instrumental in helping me through this process from being far from the property and with my military duties. She was flexible, always attentive and available for my questions given the 3 hour time difference... most definitely will have her list my oceanside property! Job well done.

Brenna sold my vacation home in less than 48 hours during a global pandemic. This was our first time selling a home and she took the time to explain everything to us. Every time there was a potential hiccup she would pre-emptively resolve the issue. Perhaps the most impressive part of working with Brenna was her attention to detail. She spent several hours with the photographer making sure every picture was perfect, moving items around to get the best angle, getting aerial views, etc. I believe this is why we several people interested in viewing the property within hours of the home being listed. Her marketing skills were incredible and marketing is what sells a home. There are a lot of real estate agents out there, but if you want the BEST in the game representing you, make sure you give Brenna a call.

Brenna Farnum is a very professional and compassionate realtor. She both helped me sell my house and buy a new one. She always took adequate time to answer questions, so I would understand the step by step processes. Whenever any little glitches would occur, she quickly alleviated them. Brenna is an excellent negotiator! She enabled me to sell for over what I expected for my home, in a very short time. Brenna was recommended by a good friend and she was exactly what we needed to assist in the sale of our condo. Our place, while beautifully updated and close to the beach, was unfortunately backed up to the 5 freeway which turned out to be a difficult and frustrating situation for us. Brenna helped us market effectively and kept us at ease during the ups and downs of hearing the feedback that our place was great EXCEPT for the freeway, the unfortunate dealbreaker. After almost 100 days, she came up with an alternative that turned out to be a game-changer and we received an offer just under our asking price. She's a very kind, thoughtful and reliable person and that carries over to her efforts as a realtor. Highly recommended.

We were 1st time buyers and understanding the market along with the loan process was quiet overwhelming. Brenna was recommended to me by my mother who was moving back to San Diego from Europe and Brenna assisted her. If anyone was to ask me for a recommendation, Brenna is the first person (and only) I’m going to mention. She made the whole process smooth and took the time to listen to what we wanted in a home. We are a young family with kids so our requests along with budget could be difficult for a realtor, not for Brenna! She found us our perfect home. Not only did she work with us but she worked with our loan officers and anyone that needed to be involved. She understood my hectic work schedule and also that my wife was pregnant and really carried the workload for us, working around my hours and our toddlers sleep schedule so we could view houses and make decisions. We really felt that she cared about us and paid attention to every single detail. There’s no other realtor we’ll use! Having grown up in the area, Brenna has a huge advantage in her knowledge of the neighborhoods of the north county. Researching a few neighborhoods is not that hard to do it on your own. However, if you want to know where to search per your needs/budget, or if you’re comparing neighborhoods with certain price range and different features, having someone native makes the task a lot easier. There are so many neighborhoods in the north county, each with its own history and character. Brenna can point out certain things about them that only the locals know about. Brenna understands the real estate process and transactions inside out. Take closing cost as an example. With all of its many items paid by different people, then throw prorated tax, HOA, and option for seller’s renting into the mix, it becomes very complicated to most people. Relying on the title company alone is not wise because they can and do make mistakes. Brenna was able to explain all the items and steps while making them easy for me to understand. More importantly, Brenna’s customer service is second to none. She aggressively negotiated with the bank to get the best price, well below market value, for my short sale purchase, during which she provided status and articulated my rights and options as a buyer very clearly. Brenna was always pleasant to work with, available, and willing to answer all my questions promptly. These are very helpful in making the right decisions in this fast paced low inventory environment. Having Brenna on your side is definitely a must. If you are buying in the north county area, I highly recommend Brenna Farnum as your agent.

My husband and I were fortunate to find a realtor as savvy and hard working as Brenna Farnum. She is very knowledgeable in North San Diego County and understands what makes a good home and a good purchase. Showing us countless homes in our desired price range and area Brenna never pressured or tried talking us into any home she knew wouldn't work for us functionally. On top of that she can negotiate with the best of them. Needless to say we are very happy with the home buying experience Brenna gave us, we will definitely use her for future transactions whether buying or selling.
